Batch (or tier)

A tier is a block of entries with the same price and sale conditions until a quota is exhausted or a deadline is reached. It is used for presales (early bird), staggered segments, or campaigns with progressive increases. When a tier is exhausted, the system automatically activates the next one, allowing for demand measurement, creating urgency, and maximizing revenue. Tiers can be differentiated by sector, audience, or sales channel, and each one maintains its independent sales report. Managing them from the ticketing panel avoids errors, keeps prices clear, and improves planning by edition or season.
